Who? 

Hannah Fredericksen and Kate Foster. 

Drama school graduates, 'The Block' rejects and home and lifestyle magazine addicts who were 'Keen as Mustard' to quit their waitressing jobs to create an avenue for lovers of beautiful spaces to purchase unique, handcrafted and affordable pieces.

What/Why?

For the past five years we have spent our weekends visiting Melbourne's markets and op shops, spending our tiny salaries on furniture and trinkets to make our homes personal and beautiful. We found it incredibly difficult to find unique pieces of furniture and art on a budget - and this is where 'Keen as Mustard' was born. This is not only a store, but a community for lovers of DIY, original artwork and furniture with a story (that is extremely affordable!). 

But what is most exciting, is that every single item on our website is one of a kind. That means, your piece is entirely unique to you and your home but also means that once the item is sold it will not appear again.

Where?

Due to our business being brand spankin’ new, our furniture is currently only available to Melbourne residents.
